Cristiano Ronaldo has explained what Sir Alex Ferguson would think about his latest comments…

Manchester United Football Club have been absolutely rocked by Cristiano Ronaldo over the last week or so.

The attacker, widely considered arguably the best to ever do it, has launched a scathing attack on all things United.

It was a timely, sneaky move by Ronaldo. He waited until jetting off for the World Cup before speaking up. Using the club to get match fit, before throwing United under the bus.

I must admit, one of my biggest questions was what would Sir Alex Ferguson say Well, Ronaldo thinks he knows…

Apparently, Ronnie believes the boss would always be on his side, knowing that the club is in a downward spiral right now. Honestly, this feels like a bold claim.

Remember, Fergie was the one who came up with the ‘no player is bigger than the club’ phrase.

Check out what Cristiano Ronaldo had to say on Sir Alex Ferguson in the big interview here:

‘I don’t speak with him like one month ago, but he’s always on my side,’ Ronaldo said when asked by Piers Morgan what Sir Alex would make of the situation, per the Daily Mail.

‘He always understand me. He knows that, he knows better than [everybody] that the club is not on the path they deserve to be. He knows. Everyone knows.’

I honestly think Fergie will be fuming. Ronaldo, once so humble and grateful fo everything United have done for him, is now throwing the whole club under the bus.

We all understand that the Glazer family are having a negative effect on the Red Devils. Though for Ronaldo to come out and say that Fergie would be right behind him is interesting, to say the least.

For me, it comes back to Ronaldo not being able to hack it that he’s no longer the best in the business anymore. I actually think he’s better than he’s shown over the last few months because his head hasn’t been in it at Old Trafford. But there can be no denying that he’s lost some of his gifts and skills. Age sadly affects us all eventually…

Is he right? Do you think Sir Alex Ferguson would be ok with these comments? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
