Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed whether he’ll do his iconic ‘Sui’ celebration if he scores for Man United.
Manchester United have welcomed home their prodigal son. Cristiano Ronaldo plays for Manchester United Football Club once again – and what an iconic transfer this is.
I never thought I’d see Ronaldo don that United number 7 jersey ever again, though here we are on the eve of his homecoming.
As you’d expect, Ronaldo has dominated the headlines over the last couple of weeks, with each snippet of news information being covered. This is the sort of impact the Portugal superstar has all across the world.
Anyway yesterday, he’d conduct an official interview on the Old Trafford pitch with former teammate Wes Brown. At the end of said interview, Ronaldo confirmed whether he’d do his trademark celebration. The good news? He said he would!
‘I hope to do that many times’.
Honestly, I can’t wait for that first ‘SUIIII’ in front of the Stretford End. The noise, the electricity, the moment is going to be supremely special for everyone inside that stadium and everyone watching from home.
Although Ronaldo is now up there in age at 36, this is someone who looks after his body better than anyone else within the sport. He’s got plenty of miles on the clock but I liken him to Tom Brady of the NFL world, for those of you that follow American Football.
Hopefully, Ronaldo can get himself in amongst the starting line-up this weekend, and potentially bag a goal or two. It’d be the perfect start to his second spell back at the Theatre of Dreams – though the most important thing is three points.
