Man United are sweating on the fitness of Cristiano Ronaldo as he emerges as a late injury doubt for Aston Villa away…
Cristiano Ronaldo coming home was undoubtedly the greatest gift us Manchester United fans have been given over the last twelve months.
The Greatest of All Time has scored some vital goals, most notably in the Champions League. His sheer desire and willingness to win has certainly highlighted that this squad is jam-packed with players who simply should be doing more to get where they want to be…
Without Ronaldo, everything becomes a whole lot tougher for this Red Devils side. And it’s not a comfortable place to be in if you’re Ralf Rangnick.
The German’s worst fears may well come to light this weekend, that’s if The Sun’s latest report on the 36-year-old is accurate…
Apparently, Ronaldo has emerged as a late injury doubt for the Aston Villa game tomorrow night, with the Portugal international suffering a thigh problem. Now, United are sweating on the fitness of their key star.
Ronaldo had missed United’s cup game against Aston Villa on Monday night with a muscular issue that wasn’t thought to be serious. He was also spotted by cameras in the session yesterday – presumably before he’d pick up this latest problem.
Ronaldo was looked at by United’s medical specialists, before heading home where he’ll make use of his private oxygen chamber he’s had placed in his home.
It aids recovery from injury by breathing pure air directly into blood plasma which repairs any damaged tissue, with Ronaldo ‘desperate’ to get back fit for this one in order to help his teammates.
No doubt we’ll hear more from Rangnick during his pre-match press conference later today. Fingers crossed its good news.
