Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message to the Man United fans following the 5-0 loss to Liverpool.
In my time watching Manchester United, yesterday was genuinely as awful as I can remember it. Something has gotta’ give after that. Losing, in such a despicable manner to our fiercest rivals cannot go unpunished.
The lack of fight, desire and pride from the players and coaching staff was borderline atrocious. Their attitude genuinely stunk as we reached an all-time low despite boasting one of the best squads in the league (on paper anyway…).
Cristiano Ronaldo was signed to be that goal-getter. That leader. that serial winner that this side needed to take that next step. Although his strikes have helped us in some matches, the lack of service and poor play around him made a result like this simply inevitable.
Nobody expected a 5-0 drubbing but we got exactly what we deserved. Ronaldo, like many Red Devils, were quick to take to social media to send a message to the fans…

I never thought I’d see the day. Ronaldo has now joined the rest of this United squad in writing some sort of generic apology to the fans after a heartbreaking loss. This is the best player in the world we’re talking about here. I never expected to see this…
He is right about the fans, though. The TRA kept singing Solskjaer’s name, kept cheering the players on and never allowed a moment of quiet throughout. That’s why our club boasts the best supporters on the planet.
I don’t think it’s unfair to say we United supporters deserve better. This club has been rotten to the core for over a decade. The repercussions of that are finally starting to catch up with us.
Sadly, Solskjaer looks completely out of his depth at this point. Is there any coming back from that? I genuinely have my doubts about that.
