Manchester United Football Club have been after that world class striker for quite some time now, with Louis van Gaal trying to add that man who can guarantee twenty goals a season. According to the father Romelu Lukaku, United have been after his son for quite some time.
“I know his agent prefers Italy, but in my eyes Rom has to join Bayern or Man Utd.” Roger Lukaku said. “There is interest from Man Utd but it is a team under construction with no real focus.”
To have that interest confirmed at the source is massive. Manchester United were clearly trying to bring the Evertonian in over the summer but were unsuccessful in doing so.
One thing you have to say is that Romelu Lukaku would not come cheap, and Manchester United will have to break the bank to bring a player of his calibre in. However, they certainly have the spending power to do so.
