Dan Gore all set to leave Man United on loan next week

Dan Gore will seal a loan exit away from Man United next week.

This January transfer window has seen a mini-exodus at Manchester United. Erik ten Hag has allowed several players to leave either on loan or permanently, including young players who are moving away to earn some invaluable experience.

The latest name to follow suit in that regard is Dan Gore.

The young midfielder looked super sharp during pre-season tour, with many thinking that Gore could be the next big product to come out of the academy here in Manchester.

Sadly, Gore has found minutes hard to come by, despite the fact that several senior players have missed time due to injury.

Now, the young Englishman is looking to find his minutes elsewhere. According to the Manchester Evening News, the United starlet is set to leave United on loan next week, as he’s eager for his first taste of professional football.

According to the MEN, there was ‘extensive loan interest’ shown in Gore this month but Port Vale have offered the best regular assurances of regular football at a competitive level for the remainder of the campaign.

Championship side Preston were keen, though League One Port Vale led the charge, with many other sides in that division showing an interest in bringing in the midfielder.

Dropping down an extra step in the footballing pyramid to start games with regularity is definitely the smarter idea. Gore will be given genuine opportunity to prove his worth at Port Vale, playing for a side who are looking to move up the League One table.

Hopefully, Gore can do well from now until the end of the season, and come back to the club with real purpose and intent in the summer.
