David Beckham has seemingly confirmed Manchester United’s new third-kit, posting a photo of himself in the top on social media.

After the official release of both the home and away kits, fans have been waiting with bated breath to find out what the third kit would look like.
The leaks left us underwhelmed, with Adidas seemingly going for a zebra pattern. Well, our worst fears have been confirmed by Beckham himself.
For what it’s worth, it actually looks better than I thought it would, though Beckham makes anything look good so perhaps why they’ve hired him to try and sell this one…

I mean, it’s still not great, is it? From my point of view, it just looks a bit cheap and tacky. I’m not really sure what Adidas were thinking with this one. I guess it’s certainly different…
It comes down to personal preference. I’m into the simpler jerseys, give me a plain red kit, black shorts and black socks and I’m happy. This is all a bit too out there for my liking – though I’m sure it sits well with some sections of the fanbase.
The good news is that it’s only the third-kit. I’ll assume we’ll only be wearing it during every-other away game at most…
