Manchester United’s David de Gea won the Player of the Year Award for the second season running, and throughout the season he made save after save that kept Manchester United in games, and won us plenty of points.
As we all know his future is well and truly up in the air, and today he spoke out about the rumours for the first time, but sadly he didn’t have too much to say.
“We’ll see what happens. Right now, I’m on holiday.” David de Gea said.
Now, its obvious De Gea is clearly thinking about his future, because if he was intent at staying at United he would’ve just come out and say so.
Sadly I fear the worst is going to happen sooner rather than later, but I think Madrid are waiting to see if their new manager is keen on signing the 24-year old before making the move official.
My number one choice as a replacement would be Petr Cech. The Chelsea man spent last season sitting on the bench wasting away, and he’ll be on the move this summer and it looks as though he wants to stay in England.
If De Gea does leave, who should United replace him with? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
