David de Gea refusing to sign huge Man Utd contract offer

The inevitable looks to be happening, and its not good news for Manchester United fans regarding David de Gea, as according to the extremely reliable Andy Mitten, the Spaniard is refusing to sign a £200,000-a-week contract offer that is currently on the table.

It looks as though we’re about to lose one of the best goalkeepers in the world for a cut-price fee due to him having only one year left on his contract, and the blow is doubly severe as we’re the club who have nurtured his talents.

At the end of the day though, you can hardly blame him. Yes, Manchester United are a massive club, but Real Madrid are too. Madrid is his hometown, and he also has a beautiful girlfriend waiting for him back there too.

I think its a decision we’d all make, and it looks as though we’ll have a new keeper in-between the sticks come next August.

That keeper could be Victor Valdes, because Mitten has also added that our #2 has been ‘training very well’ since his arrival at Manchester United.
