Manchester United dropped more points at home over the weekend, as Jose Mourinho’s side conceded late on to Stoke City. The game finished 1-1, and their goal came from a rare error from David de Gea. The Spaniard spilt the ball and Stoke managed to bundle the ball over the line courtesy of Joe Allen.
It’s not often you see Dave make a crucial mistake like that, and after the game he took to social media to express his unhappiness at the result.

Upsetting result, the victory was so close but escaped in the last minutes. We deserved more. To keep working! #MUFC

It’s nice to see our Spaniard remaining positive about the overall result. It was a game that we absolutely dominated and our performance definitely deserved more. Sometimes in football you don’t always get what you warrant, and the lads have to stay focused and move on.
Our fixture list doesn’t get any easier with games against Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City coming up this month, so our #1 will get plenty of chances to make amends.
