Manchester United are sweating on the future of the best goalkeeper in the Premier League in David de Gea. The 24-year old has a huge £200,000-a-week contract offer on the table, but is yet to decide on his future.
The news comes from the Daily Mail, who claim the Spaniard is in lingo in regards to where his future lies.
He is extremely happy with life in Manchester and his family are settled here, but the lure of Real Madrid, a return to his hometown and reining with his pop star girlfriend could prove to be too much for him to say no to.
If he were to choose Real Madrid you can hardly blame him, and at the moment thats looking the inevitable option for the shot-stopper.
United are looking at replacement keepers just in case, with Hugo Lloris, Petr Cech and Samir Handanovic thought to be high on the wish list, but obviously everyone would love David de Gea to stay and extend his contract at Old Trafford.
