David de Gea’s relationship with Louis van Gaal broken down

Manchester United Football Club and David de Gea have been embroiled in an ongoing war this summer, as the goalkeeper clearly wants to leave for pastures new and make a switch to Real Madrid this summer.

According to The Mirror, David de Gea and Van Gaal just don’t get on and there relationship has completely broken down amid heavy interest from Madrid this summer.

A source close to De Gea told The Mirror: “David just doesn’t get on with Van Gaal – and his relationship with goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek is even more strained.”

Thats obviously concerning, especially given the importance of David de Gea over recent seasons, but Louis van Gaal must continue to prioritise the players whom are playing week-in week-out for the club at this moment in time. On numerous occasions the Iron Tulip has reiterated that the Spaniard will not be considered for selection until September 2nd.

At this point in time it looks as though United will keep onto De Gea for one more season and lose him on a free next summer, which is obviously disappointing but he could win us numerous points this summer.
