David Moyes adds new coach to Manchester United staff

Manchester United manager David Moyes has added another coach to his currently staff setup at the club, according to the Daily Mail. John Murtough, the player who was responsible for bringing Wayne Rooney through the Everton ranks is believed to be joining the club, as United look to seal severance terms with his current employers – The Premier League.

Its not 100% clear exactly what role Murtough will undertake at United, but during his two spells at Everton he certainly impressed David Moyes, and he has been credited with developing Ross Barkley’s progress at Everton – a player who is a current Manchester United target if you believe reports.

Despite a change in management and Chief Executive, its excellent that United are trying to stick to their morals of producing young talent, and adding another coach in the form of John Murtough can only help this matter.

  1. I still think getting dutch; Spanish; Germany coaches would have been much better than what we have now ..I still don’t see united play the silk passing game ..just watching Southampton play much better something to do with the coaching set up..hard working players
