Shola Shoretire & Amad Diallo in first-team training ahead of West Ham game

Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire were involved in first-team training yesterday.

Manchester United Football Club have certainly been brought back down to earth over the last couple of weeks. However, as they say, the show must go on.

The progress the Reds have made under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is clear for all to see – and long may that continue. He’s always been willing to give youth a chance, which has been the basis of any successful United side in history.

Yesterday, the Baby Faced Assassin introduced a couple of fresh faces to the latest session at the AON Training Complex. Both Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire were involved in the first-team training session ahead of a massive cup tie against West Ham.

Check out the snaps of Shoretire & Diallo in first-team training here:

This is massive. Both of these guys already look a cut above U23 level, with Diallo only playing two games in that age group.

As for Shoretire, he must be buzzing after signing his new contract. Will these guys feature against West Ham? Probably not, but to know they’re within touching distance of a match-day squad is a huge confidence-booster.

I honestly don’t think it’ll be too long before we see the pair handed their opportunity. For now, though, it’s down to keeping their head screwed on, working hard and remaining patient.

Right now, it’s Diallo who has the better chance for a couple of reasons. United aren’t blessed with massive depth at right-wing, while he also commanded a pretty big transfer fee.

For me, though, Shoretire is possibly the bigger talent. He’s looked supremely-sharp this season and the scary thing is he’ll only get better. He’s also been at the club since he was just nine years old and the Nigerian truly is one of our own.
