Dimitar Berbatov brilliantly reacts to Mourinho vs Pogba feud

Manchester United is a club in crisis at the moment. Jose Mourinho’s men are looking like utter dross on the field, while capitulation is seemingly occurring off it…

It has become a huge player vs managerial battle, with Paul Pogba going toe-to-toe with his manager following the Frenchman losing his captaincy.

Pogba getting the armband taken off him I had no issue with, what’s unfolding now is nothing short of embarrassing, though. It has become about Pogba and Mourinho; not about the club.

Pundits aplenty have given their take on the situation. Some blaming manager, some blaming player. However, Dimitar Berbatov’s take on the situation is absolutely spot on. Just when I thought I couldn’t love this man any more…

“As someone who wants Manchester United to do well, I’m fed up of waking up and seeing these headlines. “ Berbatov is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.

“Football should be about what happens on the pitch, not who has the biggest d***. It’s a stupid situation.”

He’s exactly right. At this point, we should be focused on going to West Ham and getting all three points. That’s probably the last thing on the mind of half the squad, which is extremely concerning.

We never do well away at West Ham anyway, things could go from bad to worse for Mourinho if we lose. Would you be surprised to see him removed from his duties if United get convincingly beaten? I certainly wouldn’t…
