D’Mani Mellor has sealed a move to Wycombe Wanderers after leaving Man United.
Not too long ago, D’Mani Mellor confirmed he was leaving Manchester United Football Club following his contract expiry.
The young attacker, who had been on United’s books since the age of nine, was ready to take that next step and first-team football here at Old Trafford was proving hard to come by.
A loan move to Salford City definitely whet his appetite in the 2021/22 season, with Mellor choosing to leave the Theatre of Dreams for pastures new.
Well, now we know where Mellor will be playing his football next season; Wycombe Wanderers.
The League One outfit confirmed the news yesterday, with the United starlet finally sealing a move to a new club following his Reds exit. I have to say, that Wycombe Wanderers jersey suits him nicely!

As is always the case, it’s tough to keep everyone happy, particularly at a massive club like United.
Sadly, there’s just not enough minutes to go around, especially when you’ve got so many young talents on the books like the Red Devils have.
In his time at United, Mellor only managed one senior appearance and that came in the Europa League. He’s 21 now and ready to play regular football at the professional level. It’s sad that he’s gone, but the move makes complete sense.
First and foremost, Mellor has to hope his poor injury record is behind him. Then, he can start to look forward and begin to show everyone his capabilities.
This young man has all the talent in the world and if he’s given the opportunity to show that under Gareth Ainsworth, then I’m certain we’ll be hearing Mellor’s name a lot in future.
Best of luck, D’Mani!
