DONE DEAL: Man Utd complete a signing today

Manchester United fans wanted the Old Trafford board to spend big in January, in the hope of bolstering our squad and boosting our chances at a top four finish this season. United currently sit in third, and today they have completed a signing that has come out of the blue.

According to several reputable sources including Sky Sports News, Indy Boonen has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Manchester United football club.

Boonen, 16, is a Belgian attacking midfielder who can also play left-back if needed. He has been at Carrington for the past month on trial, and he must’ve impressed enough for United to offer him a permanent contract.

It is believed that United are also monitoring his younger brother, Seppe, who is a 13-year old goalkeeper.

Boonen is obviously one for the future, but for United to offer him a three-year contract they must’ve been extremely impressed with his trial period. Hopefully we’ll see him running up and down the Old Trafford turf in a few years time.
