Manchester United have completed their second permanent signing of the January transfer window, and this one is certainly something out of the blue. Sadiq El Fitouri has made the move from Salford City to Manchester United, and the right-back will immediately link up with Warren Joyce’s U21 side.
Despite only signing for Salford City this month, impressive performances led to a trial at Manchester United where the 20-year old thoroughly impressed, leading to Manchester United making the move permanent.
Upon signing, the youngster said:
“This is honestly a dream come true for me and I have to thank Salford City for the chance, as well as the faith they have shown in me,” said El Fitouri. “I am really looking forward to what happens next and to be given the opportunity to do so at Manchester United is unbelievable.”
Hopefully El Fitouri can keep progressing at a rapid pace, because the right-back spot is currently one that certainly isn’t tied down by any one player.
