There has been a bit of confusion about the future of Angelo Henriquez, with different sources reporting different things – some suggested that he had indeed completed his move away from Manchester United, whereas others said he was still part of the squad.
Today we’ve finally learned that the young Chilean has officially left Old Trafford on a permanent deal as he complex a move to Dinamo Zagreb, just days after winning a Copa America winners medal.
Its a shame to see Henriquez go as he was never really given a chance to prove himself at Manchester United, but with the abundance of strikers you can kind of see why.
This move probably does mean that Louis van Gaal will now have to enter the market for a striker however, particularly if Robin van Persie does leave the club also, as that’ll mean we’ll only have Wayne Rooney and the young James Wilson on our books in that area of the field.
