Done Deal: Manchester United let goalkeeper leave Old Trafford on loan

Manchester United have been extremely quiet regarding incoming transfers, but Louis van Gaal is clearly keen to send several youngsters out on loan as they look to get regular playing time. The next starlet to leave is Dean Henderson, as he heads to Stockport County.

Henderson, 18, will join Stockport on an initial one-month loan move, with a clause in the deal allowing him to stay at Edgeley Park longer if required.

The young man is clearly highly thought of by the Manchester United hierarchy and his teammates, as he was nominated for United’s Young Player of the Year Award before his season was cut short through injury.

Hopefully the regular playing time can help him develop and grow as a goalkeeper, and at his age there is nothing better than competitive football week-in week-out to do that.

Good luck, Dean!
