Done Deal: Manchester United officially complete first business of summer

Manchester United are set for another huge summer transfer window, as the club look to continue the mass overhaul currently going on at Old Trafford. Amongst several outgoings that are expected, United will be looking to continue traditions of promoting youth, and that may be the case again here.

The latest man Manchester United have reportedly signed is a 15-year old defender out of Ireland; Lee O’Connor.

He’s not a man that the footballing world will know an awful lot about at the moment purely down to his age, but if Manchester United have taken the plunge to sign him, then he must have something about him that makes it worth the gamble.

Its always a risk when bringing in players of such a tender age as they are nowhere near the finished article, and stye may not even develop and reach their full potential. However its nice to know that United are trying to keep active, despite the window not officially being open at the moment.
