The January transfer window opens in just a few hours, and Manchester United have already made their first move. Louis van Gaal has chosen to recall Will Keane back from his loan move at Preston North End as he tries to bolster his attacking options.
The Daily Mirror say that Louis van Gaal met the 22-year old striker on Tuesday, and Keane convinced him to recall him back to United, as the Stockport-born man believes he can offer a lot to Manchester United.
There is certainly a chance for someone to breakthrough into the mix and get involved with the first-team on a regular basis. The likes of Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney have absolutely no backup whatsoever, and if Keane can come back in and score a few goals, he could well play a huge part going into the second half of the season.
