Manchester United Football Club are in dire straits on the field at the moment, with Louis van Gaal edging closer to the sack if results don’t change, and quickly. The Dutchman will definitely be planning for the January transfer window which opens in a couple of days time, but moves are already being made.
The Red Devils have announced that Sam Johnstone has once again left Old Trafford on loan, having joined Preston North-end on an emergency transfer as they have a whole host of injuries in between the sticks.
Johnstone, 22, has struggled to make his breakthrough at Manchester United, and you can hardly blame him as the goalkeeper position is the one area of the field that has been secure over recent seasons.
Hopefully he can get some much-needed game-time, and come back a more improved player and try to force his way into Louis van Gaal’s thinking and plans.
