Manchester United have today confirmed that the talented starlet Sean Goss has extended his current deal at the club, keeping the 19-year old central midfielder at Old Trafford for the long-term.
Goss, who was born in Germany is one of the hottest talents on the Old Trafford books at the moment, and big things are expected of the former Exeter City man who signed for the club back in 2012.
He has been a regular for the U21s in recent years, and perhaps now is the time to send him out on loan to gain some vital first-team football, before returning to the club an improved player with competitive minutes under his belt.
Many thought that Goss may get the chance to show what he can do on the clubs pre-season tour of the United States but unfortunately that didn’t happen. However he still has time on his side, and will certainly push the first-team hard for a spot in the match day squads for cup games.
