A Dylan Levitt loan always looked likely to happen. Now, it has been confirmed.
The young midfielder will head to Charlton Athletic for the 2020/21 term, in which he’ll be given the opportunity to play regular games at a competitive level.
Charlton confirmed the news via their Twitter page just moments ago, with Levitt now eager to get going and prove his abilities at League One level.
The talented United starlet was all-smiles upon the confirmation of his loan move to Charlton, following the 2019/20 season in which he made his full United debut in the Europa League.

Credit where it’s due, the Manchester Evening News were all over this a month ago, as we covered their claim that he’d leave Old Trafford on loan a month or so ago.
When you think about it, it makes total sense. Levitt needs to be playing regularly as he’s probably learned all he can at U23 level at United. Unless Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was able to promise him real first-team minutes, this was always likely to happen.
I think the fact that he’s heading to League One says a lot. Talented, yes, but there’s so much room for improvement for Levitt. He’ll certainly take League One by storm and come back to United a vastly-improved player in twelve months time.
For now, it’s about concentrating on his football. The fully-capped Wales international can worry about his United career upon his return. I don’t doubt that we’ll see him on pre-season tour next summer, before a probable loan move away again – albeit at a higher level.
Good luck, Dylan!
