Manchester United Football is back. In under 24 hours, the Red Devils will take on Watford at Vicarage Road, as Jose Mourinho tries to turn around the bad start to the campaign.
As we know, Luke Shaw suffered a head injury in England’s game against Spain around a week ago. He has been touch and go since. Now, we could have just been given the news we all feared; as he hasn’t travelled with the squad.
Neither has Ander Herrera, who has been nursing an injury issue all week. That’s according to the Manchester Evening News, who name the 19-man party spotted on their way down south.
All the usual suspects were included, with the likes of David de Gea, Alexis Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku amongst the travelling pack. There is also a spot for Andreas Pereira, Anthony Martial and Fred.
Hopefully, these lads have what it takes to end Watford’s unbeaten record, as Mourinho desperately needs the three points to keep the doubters off his back for another week at least…
Confirmed Squad members (via the Manchester Evening News):
David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Ashley Young, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Fred, Marouane Fellaini, Andreas Pereira, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku.
