Edinson Cavani has been putting in the work in self-isolation, showing off his six pack as he looks to build up those all-important fitness levels.
The Uruguayan, who was a free agent until Manchester United picked him up on transfer deadline day, is in the middle of completing two weeks of self-isolation due to covid rulings here in the United Kingdom.
Obviously, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will want the 33-year-old available for selection as quickly as possible – particularly with Anthony Martial serving a three-game suspension.
Sure, it’s a personal opinion as to whether you feel Cavani will be a success at Old Trafford or not. Right now, I’d say the fans are pretty divided on that front.
One thing that cannot be denied, though, is the work Cavani is putting in to get himself ready. Cavani took to his Instagram to share a photo of himself, looking absolutely ripped, complete with six pack, as he builds up those fitness levels.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Cavani putting in the work. Just last week, the ex-PSG man uploaded a video of himself doing similar. That was also the first time United fans got to see Cavani wearing club colours, too.
My initial impression is that Cavani is ready for this challenge. Although he’s in the latter stages of his career, he seems perfect for Premier League football.
I just hope he can hit the ground running. Getting off to a good start is vital for success and who knows, he could be a huge hit at Old Trafford. For now, it’s about continuing to work hard and waiting for his opportunity.
Hopefully, that chance comes sooner rather than later.
