Manchester United Football Club have a whole host of business already completed this summer, but the duo of Mourinho and Edward Woodward clearly aren’t finished yet. So-much-so that the latter of the pair is about to leave the pre-season tour to get more business done.
That’s according to La Stampa in Italy, who say that Woodward is about to jet off tomorrow, in order to finalise Manchester United’s move for Paul Pogba.
There have been reports suggesting that the 23-year-old Frenchman will return to Old Trafford during this summer, in one of the most eagerly-anticipated transfers in our recent history.
United’s midfield has been nothing short of abject over recent times, and they certainly need a boost in that area of the field. It seems clear that Mourinho does want to bring someone in, and if Pogba fails, hopefully, he has other options that he can explore the possibility of bringing in.
It goes without saying that Paul Pogba is the one everyone wants, though. He’d almost single-handedly transform the current team, and really make us look much more solid both offensively and defensively.
