Manchester United and Louis van Gaal are keen to bring in new faces this summer, and a transfer that could happen, but is quite unexpected is Raheem Sterling making the switch from Anfield to Old Trafford.
According to the Guardian, the 20-year old is open to a move to Manchester United, and is keen to work with Louis van Gaal next season.
However the paper go on to say that Sterling is quite concerned about the fierce rivalry between the two clubs and it wouldn’t be received well by either party.
Sterling’s pace is obviously his biggest selling point, and thats exactly what United need to inject into their side at the moment. The major concern would be whether or not Liverpool would sell to us, and if they do it’d probably cost an extra five or ten million on top of the asking price for the flying winger.
