Eric Bailly suffering an injury, water is wet. Yep, that’s right, our Ivorian centre-half is out. Again…
The former Villareal man played against Tottenham Hotspur, but was nowhere to be seen at the weekend, or last night. That got us wondering why?
Well, we should have guessed. United have been hit with another injury blow, with the 26-year-old Bailly out for 3-4 weeks with a muscle issue… That’s according to the manager, via James Ducker.
At this point, we shouldn’t be surprised. After a stellar debut season, Bailly’s United career has just been one injury-hit mess. It’s a shame because the talent is so obviously there, though it’s rendered useless if you cannot get yourself out on the field.
I feel like here at Old Trafford Faithful, in regards to Bailly, it’s always about his treatment table woes. Obviously, hat’s good for absolutely nobody…
Check out James Ducker’s tweet here:
Surely the manager and coaching staff are now starting to lose patience? How many more chances does Bailly get before United just give up on him?
You look at Axel Tuanzebe waiting in the wings, who was brilliant against Paris last night. He too has suffered with injury issues recently, though you still have way more faith in the United academy graduate.
I just think that United need to cut ties with Bailly. They’ve already wasted too much time on trying to nurse him back to full health. However, every single time he goes into a semi-heavy tackle, you’re concerned that he’s going to be out for another month. It’s a real issue that doesn’t allow consistency and United could certainly do without that problem at this point in time.
