Erik ten Hag will stay at Manchester United for the 2024/25 season.
Well, it did take a while, but Manchester United have finally made their mind up on Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman, after much discussion bout his future, will remain Manchester United manager for the 2024/25 season.
It feels like the Old Trafford club, now managed by INEOS, were on the hunt for a new boss, going as far as interviewing potential candidates. That is ridiculously disrespectful to Ten Hag, though he has not let it bother him to his credit.
Anyway, last night, an outpouring came from all the big media outlets, claiming that Ten Hag will remain at the Theatre of Dreams for the third and final year of his contract.

For what it’s worth, this feels like the smart decision. Albeit a choice it feels like the club didn’t actually want to make…
Ten Hag has handled the situation with grace, while the dressing room seem delighted with the decision made by the board.
This feels like the first time United have actually backed their manager, rather than throwing them under the bus.
Now, the onus falls on Ten Hag. He has a transfer window to navigate this team through, while hopefully, the injuries ease up next term and this squad can show its full capabilities and strengths.
Let’s hope the Red Devils continue to play for their manager, and Ten Hag can make it another season with a trophy under the belt. At the end of the day, that’s what this sport is all about.
