Man United target, Erling Haaland, apparently has his eyes set on a Premier League move.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that Manchester United’s interest in Erling Haaland is very real.

We’ve covered that story for the best part of two years, when the Norwegian chose Borussia Dortmund over Old Trafford.

After signing Jadon Sancho from Dortmund this summer, it always felt unlikely that the German giants would also cash in on their other prized asset this time around. However, United’s interest remains.

Now, we’ve been given a pretty clear indication that United are amongst the front-runners to eventually win Haaland’s signature when a transfer away from the Westfalonstadion does materialise.

The story comes from Sky Sports Germany reporter, Jesco von Eichmann, with the video coming from Football Daily.

Apparently, the world-class United transfer target is ‘dreaming of the Premier League’, admit Reds interest (and others remain keen too, of course).

Understandably, when the time comes, Dortmund would prefer to sell Haaland abroad, rather than to fellow Bundesliga club, Bayern Munich.

Dortmund will obviously follow the cash, with the German outfit looking to the Premier League and La Liga for potential buyers. Obviously, these are the two most cash-rich leagues and it’d be in their best interests to start a mass bidding war for Haaland.

Clubs like United, along with Manchester City, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will all be keen. I would’ve included Chelsea in this list too, but their move to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge looks pretty much done.

No doubt the Reds will have the cash to sign Haaland, though it may be dependent on the Old Trafford club winning major silverware this time around – as that’s the biggest tempter for any player looking to move on.
