Haaland has struck 28 goals in just 22 games across all competitions, including eight in six Champions League outings. Understandably, that has led to huge interest in his signature, with United seemingly in amongst it too.
This story comes just a week after we covered a claim from The Telegraph who stated that talks would be held with United. It seems to me as though they could well be taking place today – and what a signing this would be.
After letting Romelu Lukaku leave over the summer, United have a gaping hole to fill. Perhaps the winter widow is the Red Devils’ best chance at convincing Haaland to choose Old Trafford as his next destination. Who knows, this young man could well fire us into the top four.
Solskjaer could well be our secret weapon, too. The pair have previously worked together at Molde and that personal relationship may prove key. Hopefully, the Baby Faced Assassin can convince his countryman to choose the Theatre of Dreams over every other side vying for his services…
