Manchester United have received an enquiry from Everton, for midfielder Tom Cleverley, according to freelance journalist Tim Pearson. He goes on to add that Manchester United are holding out for around £10million for the 24-year old, whereas Everton would prefer a one-year loan deal with an option to make the move permanent.
Cleverley burst on the scene in the Community Shield final three years ago, coming on as a half-time substitute and helped to turn around a 2-0 deficit to local rivals Manchester City. However injuries have hampered him, and his development seems to have stunted – since then he’s been struggling.

Whilst it’ll be sad to see a homegrown product let go, he just hasn’t been good enough over the past couple of seasons. He’s only 24, so who knows, he could still go on to have a successful career for both club and country, but its unlikely it’ll happen for him at Manchester United.

He needs to go for whatever we can get.
It’ll be a bargain if we only have to pay them £10m to take him.
Ha ha just shows how little you lot know.
How could he go on a 1 year loan with a transfer option at the end?
His contract is up at the end of the season, so if he went on a 1 year loan he could then transfer for free losing MU any potential transfer fee
