‘Everything indicates’ Man United will be Mario Mandzukic’s next club: report

Manchester United’s toothless attack has been the butt of many jokes this term, and quite frankly, they’ve deserved all the heat that’s headed their way.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is paying for the decision to thin out the attack and it’s an error that he’ll have to rectify when the January transfer window rolls around. Again the links to Mario Mandzukic just will not go away.

This time, the story comes from Italian media outlet Calciomercato, who state that ‘everything indicates’ that United will be the 33-year-old’s next move. Although Calciomercato state that it’s not a guaranteed transfer, things are certainly moving in the right direction.

Apparently, Juve’s stance in regards to a fee has remained the same – they’re after £8.6m (€10m) to let the Croatia star leave.

For someone who is getting up there in age, the Old Trafford outfit could well kick up a fuss about the fee that Juve are looking for, but buying in the mid-season window is notoriously hard. Quite frankly, they may not have any other options and their hand could well be forced.

I like Mandzukic and I think he’s a pretty useful player. However, his signing would be Solskjer breaking his transfer mould at pretty much the first sign of trouble. Surely that has to be a mini-worry?
