Facundo Pellistri is looking to leave Man United this summer – be it permanently or on loan.
Manchester United are yet to make any major waves in the transfer market this summer, both in terms of incoming and outgoing.
You feel like the club are just moments away from making some important signings, while also waving goodbye to some first-team regulars.
Well, one man who is looking to depart the Theatre of Dreams is Facundo Pellistri.
The winger, who has made 24 appearances for United, is ‘seeking a move away’ from the Reds this summer, as he remains on the fringes of the first team. That’s according to Sky Sports News journalist, Amar Mehta.
Pellistri has had a tough time of it in Manchester. He has shown flashes of his capabilities, though even when there was an injury crisis on that right-hand side, he wasn’t starting games. That tells me Erik ten Hag isn’t sold on the man from Uruguay.

There’s talent in there, though loans to both Alaves and Granada haven’t really helped Pellistri. He seems to have stagnated at present, though he is still only 22 so there is still plenty of time for the wide man to develop and grow.
Sadly, I do not think it’s going to happen for him here in Manchester. Amad now appears to be ahead in the pecking order, while I wouldn’t rule out a move to bring in a new right-winger this summer if the budget will stretch that far.
If United get some reasonable offers for the former Penarol man, it would make sense to cash in while his value is somewhat high.
