Rio Ferdinand has spent eleven years at Manchester United now, and to commemorate his longevity in Manchester he completed his testimonial game a fortnight ago. Alongside this, was the release of his new book ‘My Decade As A Red’.
The book gives an excellent insight into Rio’s career, starting at West Ham and eventually ending up at Manchester United as 23-year old. He then goes into detail about every season, his favourite moments and talks about all those glorious trophies he has lifted whilst at the biggest club on the planet.
‘My Decade As A Red’ contains excellent pictures throughout, allowing you to relive those excellent memories Rio and his United teammates have given us; Including various title wins, and topping it off with the Champions League crown won in Moscow back in 2008.
Excellent digital content is also offered, with the reader being able to use their smartphone to access various interviews with famous stars. This new feature brings another dimension to the already-excellent book, making the reader feel even more involved.
All-in-all the book is definitely worth a read, and the amount of content on display is well worth the money.
Rio Ferdinand’s new book is available online and at all good bookstores.
