According to the Metro, Manchester United and Everton have agreed a fee for the transfer of Belgium international Marouane Fellaini. The fee is thought to be £20m rising to £24m after various add-ons and performance-based incentives. The deal doesn’t involve Leighton Baines though, who is set to stay at Goodison Park.
The 25-year old’s release clause of £23.5m ran out almost a month ago now, and United look set to have made the correct decision as they could end up getting him cheaper. Fellaini will be the first major signing under the new era, and he’s obviously a player Moyes knows very well after signing him at Everton.
The paper claim that personal terms are yet to be agreed, but these should be finalised before the end of the window on September 2nd.
I still think we are one player short though, if we can add one more creative midfielder to our side, we’ll definitely be up there come the end of the season.
Well done, Your effort is well recognise
