Five things we learnt: Yeovil Town 0-2 Manchester United

1. Ander Herrera has a passion for Manchester United

Ander Herrera’s thunderbolt was greeted by a superbly passionate celebration with the travelling United fans. Its great to see how much he loves the club already, and he seems to love it in Manchester.

2. Louis van Gaal is serious about the FA Cup

Louis van Gaal sent out an relatively experienced team to take on Yeovil yesterday, and he seems deadly serious about making this competition a realistic chance for his first piece of silverware.

3. Injuries are still killing us

Rafael and Luke Shaw are back on the injured list after only just returning. Rafael has a fractured cheekbone whereas Shaw’s ankle has gone again. Hopefully these two won’t be long-term issues.

4. James Wilson needs time

After bursting on the scene last season, James Wilson hasn’t found the back of the net this term. His all-round play has been good, but he struggled to get into the game whatsoever yesterday.

5. Adnan Januzaj needs a loan move

Januzaj missed out on the starting XI once again yesterday, further confirming the fact that the young Belgian is desperate to get out of the club on loan and get some minutes under his belt.
