A Manchester United XI take on Aberdeen in a Neil Simpson benefit game tonight. The game features ex-reds as well as players from the current squad, amongst those include former striker Dwight Yorke. The biggest surprise though, was Darren Fletcher named as a substitute.
It’s great to see him around the first team again, after earlier in the week Mike Phelan claimed he’d been doing some form of training. However I don’t expect him to play competitive football for some considerable time just yet.
Starting XI
De Gea, M. Keane, Blackett, Thorpe, Ferdinand, Powell, Anderson, Macheda, Bebe, Giggs, Scholes.
Subs
L Cole, Blackmore, Johnstone, Fletcher, Fortune, Januzaj, Yorke.
You can watch the game live on MUTV at 7pm (UK time)
