Manchester United’s swoop for Anthony Martial has been well-documented, with plenty of ex-players wanting to have their say on the matter. The latest person to speak out is the former Red Devils striker Louis Saha, who has given Martial his full backing.
“Martial can create goals but he can also score goals. He can be trained to become a killer in front of goal,” Saha said.
“A lot of young players don’t specialise on one department in their game. They pretty much want to do everything so that is the challenge for Louis van Gaal with Martial.”
Its great to hear that everyone speaking out about Anthony Martial has nothing but praise for the youngster. He’s clearly talented, as plenty of big clubs were in for his signature and we’ve acted quickly enough to get the deal done.
The most impressive thing about Martial is his temperament. He doesn’t seem to be phased by the huge transfer fee, which hopefully he can begin to pay back when United play Liverpool this weekend.
