Former Premier League manager says he is disappointed with Man Utd star man

Manchester United eventually gave in to late Chelsea pressure over the weekend, with Diego Costa scoring a late leveller in sickening style. After the game Memphis Depay came in for plenty of criticism, and now, former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has also expressed his displeasure at the 21-year old.

“Memphis hasn’t done anything. He hasn’t proved anything yet and I’ve been disappointed with him.” Redknapp began. “His reaction when he lost the ball was poor. I wouldn’t think the manager was too happy with him.”

I don’t think that Louis van Gaal was too happy with him either, because the following day, Depay was made to play for the U21 side.

It was a poor decision from the young man against Chelsea, but whats been even more displeasing is the fact that he hasn’t really done anything on the pitch domestically. So far he has been disappointing, and he’ll certainly have to up his game if he is to continue wearing that famous #7 shirt.
