Manchester United Football Club stuck five past Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday after an early scare, as the Red Devils continue their top-four pursuit.
Credit where it’s due, the attacking setup that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has built deserves immense praise. It all started with the Bruno Fernandes signing, which has given the whole team a huge lift.
Now, with Paul Pogba looking back at his best, the sky’s the limit for this United side. Suddenly, we’re seeing our players included in best XIs on a regular basis again!
This time, it’s WhoScored’s Team of the Week for Gameweek 33, with no fewer than four United stars included. There are no prizes for guessing who…
Check out WhoScored’s TOTW for Gameweek 33 in full:
First up, with a gameweek-high rating of 9.13, we have Bruno Fernandes. Again, our Portuguese Magnifico stole the show with his insane passing and brilliant ball-striking abilities. He picked up two assists while also scoring an insane free-kick.
Next, we have Marcus Rashford, who ended the game with a 7.95 score on WhoScored’s performance index. Rashford did coolly tuck away a penalty as his on-ball vision continues to cause problems for opposing defenders.
Third, is a spot in the team for Mason Greenwood. It was his brilliant brace that helped United to a massive three points, while one goal with each foot continues to prove he genuinely has no strong side!
Finally, we have Anthony Martial. The Frenchman probably scored the goal of the game with an insane strike from outside the area. He continues to get better and better in this Solskjaer system, while reaching the 20-goal mark for a season for the first time in United colours.
