Four Manchester stars nominated for Premier League monthly awards

Manchester United Football Club had an excellent month of March, particularly where the Premier League is concerned, anyway.

For their efforts, four key figures at Manchester United have been nominated for major monthly awards, the club has confirmed via Twitter.

First up we have manager Jose Mourinho, he’s up for the Manager of the Month Award, and rightly so after the Red Devils won all three of their games, including an important victory over Liverpool.

Then you have the Player of the Month trophy, which Romelu Lukaku has been nominated for. The brilliant Belgian scored against both Palace and Swansea, while also picking up an assist against Liverpool. Not only that, though, his work rate was absolutely outstanding.

Finally, we come to Goal of the Month. Nemanja Matic’s brilliant strike against Crystal Palace simply has to win this award, although Marcus Rashford’s effort, as he sent Trent Alexander-Arnold for a hot-dog was a piece of genius.
