From Sky Sports: Manchester United planning to sign one of these three defenders

Manchester United’s on-field season is over, and unfortunately, our beloved stars will not take to the field in a competitive fixture for the best part of three months. Now comes the transfer period where we’ll get linked to every name under the sun.

The first bit of concrete information we’ve been given comes courtesy of Sky Sports News, and they say that Jose Mourinho is intending on bringing in one centre-back before the season starts in August.

Furthermore, the English media outlet go on to name our three targets in that area of the field. Those have been named as Michael Keane, Virgil van Dijk and Victor Lindelof.

Obviously, we know Michale Keane and he is familiar with the club. Louis van Gaal let him go, and since then, he has become an England international as well as turning into one of the best defenders in the country.

Next up we have Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk. The Dutch international has shone on the South Coast, and somewhat understandably, he’d want to move onto a bigger club if the opportunity did arise. I guess that is only natural.

Victor Lindelof is an interesting one. Manchester United were linked with the Swede before the turn of the year but since then, things have cooled pretty quickly. In terms of his style of play, I’m genuinely not too sure about that.
