Manchester United are expecting a mini overhaul this summer, with Louis van Gaal trying to mould the current squad into one in his image, into one that plays his famed philosophy down to a tee. That obviously means incoming players, but we could also see some big names leaving Old Trafford.
One player who’s future is up in the air is Robin van Persie, and he’s admitted he must evaluate the situation and consider his long-term future.
“I must evaluate the situation. The club is doing that as well. I must consider what I really want.” Van Persie admitted.
It does sound as though Robin is considering a future away from the club, and it seems like the striker is hinting to Louis van Gaal suggesting either start me or let me leave.
Personally I wholly understand both sides of the argument. On his day, Robin van Persie is up there with the best strikers in the world, but last year he was injured quite often and it seems like such a waste having huge wages sat on the treatment room all season.
