Manchester United returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory away at QPR thanks to goals from Marouane Fellaini and James Wilson. Louis van Gaal’s men looked sluggish in the first half, but upped their game almost immediately after switching back to the 4-4-2 diamond formation.
Hopefully that may be the end of the much-maligned 5-3-2 formation that simply doesn’t seem to be working for Manchester United at the moment, and Louis van Gaal has seen the light and realised the 4-4-2 is the way to fit all of our best players into one side.
