Gary Neville appointed Valencia CF manager

One of Manchester United’s greatest ever players in history has now turned his hand to club management. Gary Neville, long-time Sky Sports News pundit, and England national team coach, has taken charge of Spanish side Valencia CF until the end of the season – with Phil Neville as assistant boss.

This is a huge step for Gary Neville. Many have said that he should indeed turn his hand to management due to his extensive knowledge of the game, and this is the beginning of that journey. The Englishman has a contract until the end of the season and it’ll be extremely interesting to see how he does.

Its also good to see Phil Neville stay at Valencia in a coaching capacity, and it’ll be a good experience for the former Manchester United full-backs.

Who knows, we could well see Gary Neville succeed in Spain, and come back to replace Louis van Gaal as boss in a few years time…
