Manchester United’s lacklustre business in the transfer window is coming under increasing scrutiny from the sports journalists around the world, as they sit 91st out of 92 teams in terms of the amount of incoming transfers. Top class signings are needed before the window slams shut in under two weeks time, and barring Marcos Rojo, things look very bleak.
Spanish football expert, and Sky Sports Revista de La Liga panelist Guillem Balague has stated that Manchester United have £300million to spend this summer. Thats an insane amount of money, and its really tough to believe when we’ve only seen two new arrivals through the Old Trafford doors.
But, Guillem Balague must have his sources somewhere inside the club. Whether or not they are correct is an entirely different matter, however. He once infamously stated that Manchester United had paid a deposit to acquire the signature of Radamel Falcao, only for him to go to Monaco instead…
.@GuillemBalague Very much. They have £300m to spend. Moyes was close on some deals, but his departure slowed everything @cp13g10 #mufc
