Hannibal Mejbri has been pictured in Manchester United first-team training.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has never shied away from giving youngsters a chance. The Old Trafford club are known for their trust in the next generation and right now, there’s some seriously-good youngsters coming through the ranks at Old Trafford.
From Shola Shoretire to Amad Diallo, however, arguably the biggest talent in the United youth sides at the moment is Hannibal Mejbri. The midfielder, signed from AS Monaco in 2019, has always looked right at home on a football field at both U18 and U23 level.
Now, Solskjaer has seemingly declared Hannibal ready for that next step. Yes, that’s right, the United starlet was spotted in first-team training ahead of United’s game against Brighton this weekend. The picture actually comes from Nemanja Matic’s Instagram account.

It’s also brilliant to see Edinson Cavani back out there after he’s been dealing with injuries lately, but for now let’s focus on the man of the moment.
Hannibal deserves to be with the main group. Two-footed, incredibly-intelligent, an eye for a pass and excellent work-rate. This 18-year-old has all the makings of someone who can make an impact at first-team level.
I’m hoping that Hannibal’s path to the first-team is similar to Greenwood’s. I’d like to think we’ll see the Frenchman in a couple of games at the end of the season, before being completely integrated into the first-team mix in the 2021/22 term.
This guy gives off the impression of someone who is far too good to be sent out on loan. Instead, he needs to get acclimatized to life within United’s first-team set up as soon as physically possible.
